And this bring us toĢ - second question: did someone of you have a good macro (or can easily arrange one: my roll20-fu is really low) But having some macros could be really useful. We can arrange some alternative methods, like copying the sheet on a different shared tool (ie google doc) and just keep Roll20 to show maps, roll dice and look at the face of this angry troll with bipennis axe and hand-held shotgun the GM are talking about. Soġ - first question: there is a useable english characther sheet we can use with the free version of Roll20? How? The fact we don't speak nor read german, is a real problem with it. I found only in german, and even if i read many people using Roll20 for it, it's not really useable because we all play with english version. We started several campaign on Roll20 last spring as it has all the tool we needed and we are pretty familiar with it.īut i found there is no SR6 characther sheet. At the moment we don't know if there will be a new lockdown here or if it will be just "very advidsable to stay at home" The crucial point is: at the moment we will start playing via online toolsĪs for voice chat there are several options (even if the one we found friendliest is Discord), i found crucial having a common board to look at, with eventually shared pictures, maps, player token, and like. because it's 2020 and there is a pandemic spreading around in the world and it's better to stay at home. We sit around a table and we talk, throw 6-sied dice and write down on pieces of paper with pencils. And it's the first time we play Shadowrun at the table. I'm about to start a new campaign for SR6 we where planning on start in a couple week but something happened and probably we will start next saturday. (i could be very verbose so i start with a TL DR) Where We Last Saw It: Though the orb did wind up in the hands of the evil Ronan The Accuser for a while, the Guardians of the Galaxy were inevitably able to get it back from him, harness the power of the stone, and destroy him. Of course, he is not the only one looking for it. Where We First Saw It: It is Guardians of the Galaxy's Star-Lord who first introduces us to the Power Stone, successfully finding it contained within an Orb on the deserted planet Morag. More than just creating space portals or controlling individual minds, this thing has the inherent ability, under the right circumstances, to flick off the universe like a light switch and effectively change reality. What It Does: Though the rules surrounding the Reality Stone are perhaps the most unclear of the revealed Infinity Stones thus far, one thing is pretty damn clear: the sucker is powerful. As to prevent two Infinity Stones from being kept in the same place, the Asgardians decided to trust it to The Collector (though he doesn't actually seem all that trustworthy). Where We Last Saw It: Unfortunately, the Aether was discovered again, and after Malekith once again tried to execute his plan, Thor was able to get the red liquid ingot back into protective hands. This plan, as seen in the opening of Thor: The Dark World, was stopped by the Asgardians, and the Aether was hidden between worlds in the hopes of never being discovered again. Where We First Saw It: A millennia ago, the Dark Elf leader known as Malekith tried to use the Reality Stone - also known as the Aether - to try and return the universe to a state of eternal darkness. Basically, if you need a mind created, manipulated, or changed, the Mind Stone is what you need. As though, that weren't enough, Tony Stark then uses it in The Avengers: Age of Ultron to form the first ever artificial intelligence, and then his creation, Ultron, uses it to create Vision. Then, in the Captain America: The Winter Soldier mid-credits scene, it was revealed that the stone was actually somehow used to bring out innate powers within Wanda and Pietro Maximoff, turning them into Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver, respectively. ![]() At first, Loki uses it to hypnotize individuals - including Hawkeye - to try and steal the Tesseract. What It Does: Since it was first introduced, the Mind Stone has actually proven to be useful in many ways, both good and bad. Where We Last Saw It: As seen in The Avengers: Age of Ultron and Captain America: Civil War, this pretty yellow ingot is now safely nestled in the forehead of Vision - who is extremely well equipped to take care of it. It was positioned within the gem of the God of Mischief's staff. Where We First Saw It: While we didn't know it was the Mind Stone at the time, this one first showed up in The Avengers when Thanos gave it to Loki so that he could lead the Chitauri's invasion of Earth. Stropping, however, is relatively easy, and will keep an already sharpened edge in perfect nick indefinitely, whether you use polymer or PMC.īriefly, stropping consists of pressing/cutting a mirror image of the gouge angle into a soft wood (like bass), applying a compound, and running the gouge lightly down the groove. To duplicate the original angle of the gouge is extremely difficult. A special jig is used to sharpen the gouge when its originally made. Its not practical to think in terms of sharpening gouges because its too difficult to maintain the angle of the gouge edge against a stone. Metal clay on the other hand, because it contains metal, will dull your gouges over time. If used exclusively for polymer, gouges won’t dull much with use. Clear plastic tube can be purchased at a hardware store and cut to slip over the gouge tip. Always protect the gouge tip from knocking around in your work-bag. If your gouge is sharp when you buy it, here are a few tips for maintaining the edge. Keeping your tools in good working order: You can find them at sewing stores and I sell them in my classes. ![]() It is essential for this kind of carving (where your finger is in the path of the gouge). It has a little metal piece in it to protect my finger from the gouge. I'm wearing a leather thimble in the picture. The folded towel raises the height, as well. This will give you more control over a curved piece. To carve a curved shape (bracelet, curved pendant), fold a towel (or use a pine pillow) into a square and nestle the object you are carving into the towel. While you're at it, flex your back and your hands, as well. Observe the 20/20/20 rule: Every 20 minutes raise your eyes and focus on something 20 feet away to maintain 20/20 vision for as long as possible. Don’t do it! Raise the piece you are carving use a dictionary, or a few phone books to raise the height of the piece you are carving so that you can work with a straight back. Nothing spoils an activity quite as quickly as an aching back. To do this they round their backs and bend their heads down toward the desk. Technique: Most people want to get close to what they are carving. They are called, Josei Moku Hanga To and are available down to 1mm in size, the smallest “U” gouge I’ve found. Ĥ) Carvers from Japan An elegant (and expensive) alternative are the beautiful carving tools imported from Japan and sold at McClains Printmaking Supplies. Unfortunately the 3-packs I purchased recently were dull and not worth using. When they first came out a few years ago these tools had a sharp edge. The 3 tools in this set are a 1mm “V”, 2mm “V” and a 5mm “U”. ![]() Unfortunately they do not have a good edge and so are not very useful for carving unless you have the tools and the skill to sharpen or hone the edges of a gouge.ģ) Staedtler MasterCarve Tool Set a more recent addition to the market. ![]() To do so, e-mail me at Speedball linoleum gouges: These inexpensive tools are an art store staple and have been around since I was in Kindergarten (forever). Mail order suppliers that sell polymer clay sometimes carry these tools. Therefore it is more economical to purchase the tools individually. The sets do not contain a group of useful sizes for jewelry scale carving. It is important to note that these tools, when found in wood carving supply stores, are sold only in sets. I use the following sizes:ġ.5mm and 2mm“U”, 1.25mm “V”, and 2mm “V”. They are very sharp and suitable for harder materials like silver, bronze and copper clay, as well as for polymer. This will allow you to lower the angle of the tool.ġ) Dockyard Micro Carving Tools are wood gouges that are available in very small sizes. To lower the angle it may be necessary to move the polymer plate so you can drop the heel of your hand off the edge of the table. It should be held at a low angle, not perpendicular to the work surface. Dull tools may be another cause for chipping and rough edges. The angle the carving tool is held is very important. Properly cured clay won’t chip when it's carved. The tool should move smoothly and easily through the material. Tips on carving polymer clay: To make carving easier, try warming the polymer clay slightly under your desk lamp. ![]() The quality of the finished upgrade you can make depends on the players crafting level. You need to first acquire resources to make the upgrade, and then by applying crafting notes to the recipe you can improve their overall quality. Iron Ingots, Silver Ingots, Copper IngotsĬrafting upgrades work similar to crafting ships. To the right you can also see the Naval Action Crafting tree, the blue ones are default and the red ones are non default ones, so those you need to acquire the blue print for. Crafting level is improved through the experience attained while crafting parts, modules, and ships. Ships also require certain crafting levels and the more Crafting Notes that are put into a ship, the higher the crafting level is needed to complete that ship. The resulting handling of ship also depends on whether the wood used is fir, teak, oak, or live oak (live oak being the slowest but strongest, with fir the fastest but weakest). The quality of the built-in upgrades of ships depends on how many crafting notes you include in the recipe. Crafting Notes are also dropped randomly when breaking up a ship for parts. These ingots are then crafted into gold coins, which are used with coal to craft (or buy) Crafting Notes. Ships recipes randomly drop either when crafting ships, or when breaking up a ship (which can also give crafting resources).Ĭrafting Notes are typically made from acquiring gold and combining it with coal to create gold ingots. Resources can be difficult to attain for each ships recipe, and can be time consuming to retain. Certain ships construction need unique components, with differing amounts of resources needed in each ships crafting recipe. Crafting in the current stage of Naval Actions involves gathering resources to construct ships. Cayman Jack Margarita is made with 100 blue agave nectar and lime juice. How do you properly store ready-to-drink Margaritas? For the record, tequila needs to be from a specific region to be called a tequila, so if it has that title, you know it did originate in Mexico. Some producers rely on neutral grain spirits while others work with tequila distilleries, but unless otherwise disclosed, all of these products have real tequila. Your body will thank you the next day.įAQs Do ready-to-drink Margaritas have real tequila added? Look for options that lean on agave or cane sugar to sweeten, rather than fake sweeteners. But the best options balance out the sugar with natural flavors. Many cocktail fans sway away from canned options as they can be cloyingly sweet. Just how tipsy are you looking to get at the beach? The ABV of ready-to-drink Margaritas can vary wildly, from a mere 4 percent to a knee-buckling 30 percent. Cayman Jack is available in Margarita, Mojito, Moscow Mule & Paloma flavors. Citric acid can help this-it’s a compound found in lemons that can be added to cocktails to retain that freshness of citrus for far longer. Citrus goes badly or tastes tinny if not stored correctly. If your canned cocktail doesn’t taste fresh, citrus likely is to blame. What to Look for in a Ready-To-Drink Margarita Citrus If you prefer to build out the drink yourself, Hella Cocktail Co’s ( view at Amazon) offerings pack in all the ingredients with none of the tequila, so you can use your favorite bottle (or sub out a non-alcoholic spirit). Crafthouse Cocktails ( view at Drizly) and Cutwater Spirits (view at Total Wine) both do an excellent job of mimicking bartender-concocted flavors desired in a Margarita and packaging them into an easy-to-drink canned format.
